SpectraMax M5 is a multi-detection microplate reader with dual monochromators, a triple-mode cuvette port, and 6-384 well microplate reading capability. Detection modalities include absorbance (UV-Vis), fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence and luminescence. Dual monochromators provide the ability for either top or bottom reads. Wavelength ranges from 200 nm- 1000 nm with tunable wavelength selection in 1 nm increments. Additional features include a temperature range from ambient- 60°C, plate shaking, and kinetic assays. This instrument can be run standalone or through the SoftMax Pro Software.
