The Chemidoc MP is a robust imaging system for gel and western blot analysis. Imaging modes include fluorescence, chemiluminescence and stain-free. Up to 3 colors can be multiplex in fluorescence mode. See below for compatible fluorophores. The Chemidoc offers publication quality images with autofocus, auto-exposure, and image flat fielding. UV safety shield is available for cutting gels.
BioRad Image Lab 6.1 software is available on the desktop next to the Chemidoc for image analysis. Image Lab offers automated band and lane detection, data normalization, quantification, volumetric and molecular weight analysis.
