A general training session is required by all prior to gaining access to the CMB and any instrumentation within. General training covers lab safety, lab-specific rules, and the scheduling system.
Training is available for:
- individual students
- lab groups
- classes
- faculty
- staff
General training typically takes 30 minutes. You do not need to bring anything with you, but a pen and paper are suggested for taking notes. All training sessions are available by appointment only.
After your general training you will be provided with:
- OneCard access to Ford 123
- Instrument booking site access
- Eligibility for instrument specific training
