Welcome! Allow me to extend an emphatic "Welcome" to you! This is a rock
climbing site dedicated to the "Weekend Warrior" climbing woman.
The content includes material appropriate for the rank beginner,
such as introduction to climbing terms and equipment, and some
basic physcial and mental techniques for better, more enjoyable
performance. However, I hope that the more experienced climber
will discover some gems here, too. If you are an advanced climber,
then you probably won't learn anything new here, but I hope you enjoy
my attempts at humor and the pictures I've included in the site.
If you get lost, you can always use the navigation bar on the left
as well as the links at the bottom of each page to find your way around!
Some of the pages are quite long, so use the bar of links at the top
of each page to avoid scrolling. Also, check out my bio page and feel
free to send me some feedback on the site! Unless you are a web
designer, my CSC 105 instructor, or just terminally curious, the
Design Document probably won't interest you.
Caveat! I am an amateur climber who has 3 years
of experience, but I am NOT a professional climber, nor
am I certified by any official climbing authority as an instructor. I have
included many tips, tricks, techniques and philosophies that have worked for
me personally, but before you go climbing, I urge you to seek
professional instruction and/or supervision. This site reflects my love of the
sport and its challenges, but it is not designed to be anything more than an
entertaining and inspiring read. That said, let's move on! Use the navigation
bar on the left and/or the links at the bottom of each page to move through
the site! Happy web-surfing!
