Episode VI
The episode begins with the daring rescue of Han Solo, who was captured by the Empire during the previous episode and sold to the slaver Jabba the Hutt. Luke and Leia infiltrate Hutt's base and manage to free their friend.
Reunited with the other Rebels, the heroes learn that the Empire is building a second Death Star. To prevent this, they must travel to the forest mood of Endor, disable the protective shield, and then destroy the base itself.
With some help from the Ewoks living on the moon, Han Solo and Luke are able to deactivate the shield generators. However, Luke is captured by the Imperial storm troopers and brought to the new Death Star to meet Darth Vader and the Emperor. There they try to make him join their cause.
While Luke is resisting the Emperor, a group of Rebels pilot their spacecraft inside the half-built Death Star and manage to destroy the main generators. As the Emperor tries to kill him, Luke is saved when Darth vader (revealed to be his father) comes to his rescue at long last. The movie ends with a celebration.
