About me.
I am an Associate Professor in
the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Smith College. Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck
Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany, and a Hans Rademacher
Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania. I received a PhD from Dartmouth College in 2012, where my advisor was Vladimir Chernov. I was an undergraduate here at Smith, and graduated in 2006.
My research is in geometric and low-dimensional topology.
