TITLE:  Standard Diet for Rearing Mosquitoes

1.0       PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to describe the materials and procedures used to prepare the standard diet used in rearing mosquitoes.


2.0       PROCEDURES

By weight:

1 part rat chaw - Wayne Lab-Blox

1 part brewer's yeast

1 part lactalbumin

Crush rat chaw (can use blender) and sift through a 40-mesh screen.


3.0            FEEDING SCHEDULE
