I am passionate about improving rigor in science. If we can work together to better guard against bias, our research will be more impactful. I don’t think science is worth doing unless we aim to do it as well as possible.
I am happy that teaching about rigor in experimental design is central to my teaching at Smith College, as well as my educational writing and publishing. I have enjoyed partnering with Society for Neuroscience and NIH to work on developing effective educational materials.
Community 4 Rigor is an NIH funded effort to improve education in tools for rigorous science.
