I hope you have throughly enjoyed my Dreamcastgirl webpage.
I used the following design techniques to create this website:
Navigation AidI have two navigation bars in this website. You can see the first bar on the homepage. I used Photoshop to create the orange swirl as my recurring logo as well as the text. Underneath every navigation bar heading, there are links to my other pages. I used the second navigation bar for the rest of my pages. They are located on the top of every page. The color of the links changes according to your actions. I made all the links the same color using one stylesheet to create continuity in my webpage. ImagesI used Photoshop to create my DreamcastGirl Logo located on my homepage as well as the headings for my first navigation bar. I designed my logo in Photoshop to add individuality to my website. Pictures of the video games for many of my pages gave the website more color and details. A picture is worth a thousand words! Hidden TablesI used hidden tables throughout my website. Hidden tables divided my pages into an organized and neat arrangement which made it easier to view and read the content on each page. It prevented my navigation bars to overlap with my text and images. A StylesheetI used a Stylesheet to give my website continuity from one page to another. I set the background color, font family, font size, and the color of the text and I linked each page to my stylesheet. JavascriptI am very proud of my one use of Javascript. I used Javascript to change the image of the Dreamcast Console on my Homepage when you inact a onMouseover the console link. The image will change back due to the onMouseout command. |
