Labs on this web site complement the book, The
Analytical Engine. These labs make use of some of the very latest Net technology to
teach about computers, and about the Net itself. Labs make various use of HTML frames,
HTML Forms, JavaScript, Quicktime, Signed Java Applets (you'll be able to save and open
files if you give permission through your browser), and CGI scripts. To get the best
performance, you'll need to be using a computer with at least 12Mb of RAM, and a color
monitor, and a Java-capable operating system and browser. |
