Techno 48x96 CNC Router
This machine was installed summer 2011 and funded by a generous gift to the Picker Engineering Program from the Branta Foundation. This machine is a large format, 3 axis CNC router. It's designed for soft materials such as wood, MDF, and plastic. It has a 3 HP spindle that can run up to 18000 RPM, and can machine at up to 200 ipm. The machine can fully cut on a 4x8 foot sheet.
