Kent 13x40 Engine lathes
In early 2012 we replaced two aging and unsafe Southbend lathes with two new Kent 13 inch lathes. These machines are fully equiped with Fagor Digital readouts, chucks, collets and other accesories. One lathe has a taper attachment installed. The lathes use identical tooling, and the controls operate the same - a nice feature in a student shop.
