Prototrak K3 CNC Kneemill
This machine was installed summer 2011 and funded by a generous gift to the Picker Engineering Program from the Branta Foundation. This is a 2 axis Mill that can either be used manually like a bridgeport mill, or in CNC mode. It is easy to design programs right on the machine, or it can import Gcode programs from a CAM package.

- Very easy to use (for a skilled machinist!)
- Conversational programming on the machine, or Gcode
- 2 axis CNC, 3 axis DRO
- A bit larger than a bridgeport, helpful for large parts
- The CDF staff will help you get your part machined
