HAL 9000 Computer - A Vision by Arthur C. Clarke

The HAL 9000 computer was a fictional character in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. This ficticious machine provides one view of what an artificially intelligent computer might be like, and how, in the later parts of the movie, it might go wrong.
