Homework Assignment 1. Due February 4, 2002.
1) Show A OR (B AND C) = (A OR B) AND (A OR C) using truth tables
2) Problem 2.1 Page 47. Use vectors of size 100 rather than 1000.
- Don't forget to say where prog. is stored
- Specify word number of each word and L or R if it is 2 instructions
(e.g. 0L, 0R)
- Need Counter
- Need address to jump to.
- Can change calue of an address of an instruction
(e.g. STOR M(X,8:19))
- Use symbolic opcodes (i.e. don't have to use binary representation).
- Easiest to use one word per line, in 2 column format when it's 2 instructions.
