Comments: About half a mile inland there is a large colony of nesting chinstrap penguins.

The penguins walk from the colony down to the ocean to feed. Here they are gathered on the

foreshore amidst grounded ice floes. They seem quite hesitant to enter the water, perhaps because

of lurking seals.
