Travelers Insurance is hiring geospatial interns and full-time positions through the Business Insights and Analytics Leadership Development Program (BI&A LDP). 1-2 years of college GIS is expected, with experience in scripting (Python, SQL, Javascript, etc.) highly encouraged. Previous knowledge of the insurance industry is not expected and will be taught. You would be joining about thirty core geospatial professionals (including 5 College alums) spread out over five departments, helping to support spatial data usage throughout a company of 30,000 employees. The BI&A LDP program provides a great opportunity to apply geospatial analysis and data management skills to many aspects of the insurance industry, while also gaining leadership and other professional soft skills.
