Mapping is here to stay. Our Interactive Mapping Service (IMS)
is based primarily on ESRI's ArcIMS technology. However,we offer
other alternatives for making your own geographic data viewers
that are accesible to anyone with an Internet connection.
Our IMS sites are categorized into three basic groups:

which plugins are required and includes instructions for downloading and installing.

JAVA Preparation: Windows Operating System
To view an IMS site with a Java Viewer,
two files need to be installed on your computer.
If you engage a Java site without pre-installing
the two files,
you will be prompted to install them. It is faster to install the files before.
Click to download each item and save them on your computer. Then run each application
to install them. After installing both, then open any of JAVA Viewer maps on
this page
Java
Runtime Environment (JRE) (9 MB) -- Windows only
ArcExplorer
(Java edition) (5 MB) -- install after the JRE
SVG Preparation
Click on the link below to download the SVG Viewer
from Adobe. You can either save the file and then install or open the
file and install from the web.

Disclaimer:
These Map Services have ONLY been tested using Internet Explorer
on PCs
(version 5x and above). However, most should work in Netscape 4.7 or higher.
