The printer's front panel is located on the front of the printer, at the right-hand side. It includes an easy-to-use interface with a display, giving you access to a comprehensive set of printer functions and to a number of useful internal prints. Information on your ink consumable items can be found here, as well as continually updated information on their status.

The front panel is made up of the following functional areas, from left to right:

• action keys and associated status lights
• A message display screen
• navigation keys
• sleep mode key and status light
