You can now apply online: New England Biolabs Summer Workshops online application form. Follow the directions indicated on the page to complete your online application. Also, add biolabs@smith.edu to your trusted senders since it may end up in your quarantine. $500.00 Discount on Tuition!!!! New! This summer we will subtract $500.00 from each tuition for two or more individuals who apply together. If more than two come from your group, each will receive the discount! Each person needs to fill out application form and list the people in your group on the form. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis, so apply now!

Molecular Biology Summer Workshops Payment Details: Payment is due within three weeks following the receipt of your email acceptance letter. You should begin making arrangements for payment the same day you apply (note: some institutions are slow issuing checks). Late payments will incure a $300 penalty. Registration fees (includes course fee, room and board) :
Checks should be made out to: Molecular Biology Summer Workshops and mailed to Dr. Steven A. Williams at the above address. **Please DO NOT make checks out to Dr. Williams or to Smith College. Financial Aid Application Deadline: February 24, 2012 (Friday). If you need a visa to enter USA, please provide us with proof that you have obtained your visa by May 11, 2012 (Friday) Find more information on financial aid by clicking here. The deadline for the elementary, middle and high school teachers is April 27, 2012 (Friday).
Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend the course after having been
accepted, you must notify us immediately by E-mail and/or telephone. A
full reimbursement will be made for cancellations by May 02, 2012 for Session 1 and June 01, 2012 for Session 2. Any
cancellation beyond each session's deadline will result in a 2/3 refund and ONLY
IF YOUR PLACE IS FILLED FROM OUR WAITING LIST. This policy is
necessary because we must completely fill each session in order to
"break even" (this is a non-profit course and we need to pay our
bills!). Note:
reimbursements will not be made until September 2012. |
