Hi! Welcome to the Oceanography ZIPOW page. Every week this page will display a zoomed-in (and usually fuzzy) piece of a larger image that you will see either in lab or in lecture at some point during the week. It may be something having a great deal to do with a particular oceanographic concept, or it might be more obscure, something I threw in there just for fun. Either way, pay close attention and be on the lookout for it!
If you think you recognize it, write me an email (sgaurin@email.smith.edu) with your guess, along with an explanation of what the heck this thing has to do with oceanography. A right answer will result in half a bonus point toward your final grade. So get your guessing hat on and guess away ...
