In the summers of 2009 and 2010, the Project Coach team was delighted to work with youth from Chicago, IL, Benton Harbor, MI, and Grand Rapids, MI. Thanks to the support of Step-Up Founder Linda Salisbury, our coaches underwent an intensive weekend of coaching and mentoring training before leading sports sessions for young children at the Boys & Girls Club in Crawfordsville, IN. Wabash College played host to "Project Coach" for the third consecutive year this summer. This year's program, headed by Dean of Students Mike Raters, featured five young men returning from last year and five new teenagers joining the program. The students come from the Chicago area and from Michigan. (Review Article)
