Jane Stangl is lecturer in ESS specializing in cultural studies with an emphasis in the sociology of sport and sport history. She team-teaches the introductory course, Sport & Media, and a cultural analysis seminar at the undergraduate level. At the graduate level she teaches research colloquiums and serves as a coaching advisor as well as graduate advisor. In the performance program, Jane teaches golf.
