ADMISSIONS INFO

Transfer Students

Students wishing to study engineering who are transferring to Smith from other schools should get in touch with the engineering program as early as possible in the transfer process -- preferably as soon as you decide to apply to Smith College. Any courses for which credit towards your engineering degree is sought must be approved by the director of the engineering program.

You should be prepared to provide:

An official copy of your transcript

The course description

The name of the instructor

A syllabus from the course

The name of the text(s) used

If possible, try to schedule a time to speak with one of the engineering faculty or the assistant director of the engineering program at some point during your application process.
