ADMISSIONS INFO

Engineering Scholarships

The Picker Engineering Program awards scholarships to a select number of students who demonstrate excellence. All engineering students are automatically considered; there are no special application forms.

Coulter Foundation Scholarship
The Wallace H. Coulter Foundation offers the need-based Coulter Scholarship, which provides the total cost of attending Smith—including tuition, room and board. The scholarship is awarded to international students from developing countries who major in engineering or the sciences at Smith College and who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership qualities. Funds are also available for books, course fees, and a summer stipend for internships.

Picker Fellowships
Jean Picker Fellowships for the Study of Engineering are awarded to selected students each year. The Fellows receive $10,000 for each undergraduate year at Smith. Recipients are chosen by a faculty committee on the basis of academic excellence and leadership qualities.
