Celebrating Smith Science!

Patricia DiBartolo and John Brady won the Kathleen Compton Sherrerd ’54 and John J. F. Sherrerd Prizes for Distinguished Teaching. This is Smith College’s annual award recognizing outstanding teaching records and demonstrated enthusiasm and excellence in the classroom.

Kristin Tyler ‘09 and Emma Schlatter ‘10 were both awarded a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship.

Nat Fortune won grant of $40k from the Research Corporation for a research project titled: "Magnetic Field-Induced Phase Transitions In The 2D Triangular Antiferromagnet Cs2CuBr4".

Glenn Ellis is "U.S. Professor of the Year"!
