Smith College Campus History about this map {Flash Player is needed to view the Campus History Animation}
About:
The animation was developed over a 2 year period by Spatial Analysis Lab assistant
extraordinaire, Cassie Stearns (Geology major), under the supervision of the GIS Specialist. Historic maps were acquired from College Archives and georeferenced to a common coordinate system. A few other GIS spices were added to the mix along with a healthy dose of Flash to produce the final movie.
