Five College Course Possibilities:
Courses taken at one of the other Five Colleges (UMASS; Mt Holyoke, Hampshire, or Amherst Colleges) can also be applied to the MS&P minor with prior consultation and approval of a minor adviser.

ES& P Courses offered at Smith via the Smith Online Course Catalogue:

The online course catalogue is a Web-based version of the full 2-year Smith College course catalogue. A minimum of four semesters will be available at all times. The information presented mirrors the format of the printed catalogue, including course listings (description, instructor and offered terms), department data, information on majors and minors, honors programs, and cross-listed and interdepartmental courses. A search screen allows you to find courses by course number, department*, keywords in the title, term offered, number of credits, fields of knowledge and professor. You can also browse through a department's entire catalogue section. The data in the course catalogue is refreshed regularly. The "date last updated" appears on the bottom of the search page.

*Since the Environmental Science and Policy program is comprised of courses from other departments, unless you are looking for a specific course approved for the minor and you know its affiliated department, you may find it helpful to search for courses using the Five College electronic catalogue and the search term "environmental."

The Five College Course Guide

This course guide includes current semester course listings for classes offered at Smith, Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke and UMass. The information presented includes a description of the course as well as instructor, meeting time and location data. A simple search screen allows you to search for courses by department, title, instructor or keywords in the description. The data in the course guide is posted just prior to registration and is refreshed two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.
