Five College Course Possibilities

Courses taken at one of the other Five Colleges (UMASS Amherst, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, or Amherst Colleges) can also be applied to the minors with prior consultation and approval of a minor adviser. There are many exciting possibilities- so check them out! Examples from Fall 2009 include HIST 91-01: Commodity, Nature and Society at Amherst College; IA 0182-1: Art and Energy at Hampshire College; ENVST 267-01: Reading and Writing in the World at Mount Holyoke College; and GEO-SCI 670 Urban Environmental History.

The Five College Course Guide

This course guide includes current semester course listings for classes offered at Smith, Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke and UMass. The information presented includes a description of the course as well as instructor, meeting time and location data. A simple search screen allows you to search for courses by department, title, instructor or keywords in the description. The data in the course guide is posted just prior to registration and is refreshed two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester
