How do I get access to McConnell outside normal opening hours? Once an event has been scheduled through the Office of College Events, the event will be included in a weekly Building Utilization Report that notifies custodians to open the main door to McConnell approximately 30 minutes before the event and lock it again approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled end of the event. There are four doors into the McConnell building but only the main door (under the over-head bridge way) will be unlocked. If you have an after-hours event, you may want to put a sign on the other doors. For access outside planned events, users with a Smith or 5-college ID (see also below) can gain entry through the Sabin-Reed door monitor across from the main McConnell door and then by going through the over-head passageway. How do I have door monitors allow access to people without Smith or Five College ID that I have invited for my event?
