Smoke Free Environment Policy Effective: July 1, 1993 As environmental tobacco smoke has been causally associated with a number of health conditions, including lung cancer and lower respiratory track infection, and in order to protect the health of members of the Clark Science Center Community, the Science Center which includes, Bass, Burton, McConnell, Sabin-Reed, and Young Library, is a "Smoke-Free Environment". Smoking is not allowed in any of these buildings at any time.
