SheHacks Boston, January 26th-28th, 2018

Hello,

My name is Sreeya and I am a Junior at Northeastern University.

I am on the leadership board for a new hackathon called SheHacks Boston that is aiming to be the largest all female and femme non-binary hackathon in the world. Our mission is to empower women and femme non-binary individuals in computer science to achieve; provide them with opportunities to explore the tech industry in an inspiring, encouraging, and energizing environment; and create a community and supportive group of students from all over the country. Companies like Google, IBM, Two Sigma and more will be attending this event so it will be a great networking opportunity for your students.

The event will be taking place January 26th-28th in Boston, MA. For 36 hours, 1000 high school and college-aged women will join together to build innovative projects and celebrate females in tech.

If you think this is something any of your students would be interested in, please let me know and I can send you any information to send out to all of the women in your program and answer any questions. I will post the links to our website and Facebook page below my signature if you would like to get a better understanding of us and the event. I have also attached our promotional poster.

We are accepting applications for all levels of skill in coding and computer science. The event is free, and food will be provided.

Thank you for your time,

Sreeya Sai
