Subject: LaTeX this interterm – register by Friday!

Hi math majors and post-bacs!

Have you ever looked at an elegant worksheet a professor made and gone, “wow, I wish I could do that”? Well, your time has come! I am going to be leading a free workshop in LaTeX this interterm, January 16-19, 2-4 pm each afternoon.

I’m going to be structuring it to be accessible to anyone, regardless of math background or previous exposure to LaTeX. If you’ve used LaTeX a bit before, you may still be interested in attending to learn how to do some more advanced stuff. Besides being generally cool, LaTeX can also be super useful for upper-division math classes. I’ve attached a flyer with some information, and you can also get in touch with me if you have any questions (or requests for specific topics to cover).

Unfortunately, the period for Interterm registration is pretty short: the deadline is this Friday, December 8. You can see the list of classes here and register here.
