Students going to Grace Hopper 15

Good luck to Alice, Ashley, Elyse, Giovanna, Lujun, Mariem, Ren, and Youyou who are on their way to the Grace Hopper conference, which takes place in Houston, TX, this year. Grace Hopper is the largest technical conference for women in computing. Some stats on the conference, gleaned from their Web site: GHC 2015 has grown to 12,000 people, and with this increased attendance, they have also expanded their programming. In 2015, they will feature seven clusters, 13 tracks, and over 700 speakers. Julia Edwards, ’15, is one of the two finalists for the Anita Borg Institute Student of Vision Award. The award will be announced at the conference.
