E.LIT / NET.ART 2.0 Gallery + Screening!

 

Tuesday, March 25th at Smith College’s Hillyer Hall (3 PM > 8 PM)

The Five College Digital Humanities Program and the Smith College Museum of Art are pleased to announce E.LIT/NET.ART 2.0, an interactive exhibition and screening of digital art and animation!

THE GALLERY

From 3 PM to 7 PM, come play with hypertext stories, digital video mash-ups, and early video games in ourinteractive gallery in Hillyer L-15!

THE SCREENING (+ FOOD!)

At 6:15 PM, join us for a reception with free, catered food in the lobby downstairs in Hillyer. Then, at 7 PM, come into Graham Hall for “Procedure, Structure, Algorithm,” a hour-long screening of digital film and animation!

Special Smith College Premiere!

The Smith College Museum of Art has graciously donated KHARMEN, a new film by Jay Bolotin, for our screening. Don’t miss this retelling of Bizet’s classic opera, made with digitally manipulated graphite drawings!

Come to E.LIT / NET.ART 2.0: A Born Digital Gallery and Screening on March 25th in Hillyer Hall! The gallery is in Hillyer L-15 from 3 PM to 7 PM, the screening is at7 PM in Graham Hall, and there will be free food in the lobby between them at 6:15 PM!
