Edge Conference for Women in Mathematics

Information about EDGE 2017
The 2017 EDGE summer session will be held June 5 – June 30, 2017 at Mills College in Oakland, CA. The local coordinator is Maia Averett (Mills College). Participants receive a $3000 stipend plus travel, room and board. The application deadline for the program is Friday, March 3, 2017. Participants to the program will be announced in mid-April.

Now that the registration for the Grace Hopper conference ( is officially closed, you may have registered for the conference but may find yourself short of travel funds.

NCWIT has selected Smithies in CS to receive the NCWIT Student Seed Fund (sponsored by Symantec)!
