TWO CLASS LECTURES
Within the last three weeks of his life, Stefan delivered the following two lectures to his Introduction to Neuroscience class, which were captured on a small handheld tape recorder in a large classroom by one of his students.
Both lectures reflect Stefan's vast knowledge of his subject, as well as his passion for teaching and the inimitable combination of humor and insight that helped inform his students each week. The audio for both files has been amplified as much as possible so that Stefan's voice can be heard, but it is sometimes faint and scratchy.
Nonetheless, listening to these lectures does give a very real sense of who Stefan was as a teacher, mentor and friend, and why his presence is so deeply missed.
