RESEARCH INTERESTS
Calculational chemistry; dynamics in inorganic chemistry. We are interested in applying modern ab initio and semi-empirical quantum calculations to problems of small molecules. We investigate charge and bond length variations in simple alkanes, examine reactivity in oxirane systems, and explore structurally strained molecules. In the area of dynamics, we are interested in studying electron-transfer, substitution, and photochemical aspects of transition metal chemistry.
