Alignment of Tec3 elements with tyrosine recombinases from M.E. Jacobs, A. Sánchez-Blanco, L. A. Katz2 and L. A. Klobutcher “Tec3: a New Developmentally Eliminated DNA Element in Euplotes crassus” (submitted).  Brightly colored sections were used in genealogical analyses and correspond to conserved regions patch 1, box 1, patch 2, patch 3 and box 2, respectively (see paper for details).
