Course description

A programming-intensive course to prepare you for CSC 212.

A vast majority of class time will be spent actively coding or reading code. We'll learn Java by coding simple algorithms and practicing good programming techniques. You'll leave this course with 1) a solid understanding of how to code simple programs in Java, 2) an idea of how to approach bigger programming problems, and 3) better googling skills.

Small homework assignments that should take no more than an hour will be assigned daily.

How to register

Registration for non-credit j-term courses is not done over Bannerweb. Instead, register online starting at noon on December 5th at the interterm website. Enrollment is capped at 30 students.
