At Smith, you’ll have the chance to experience how engineers create solutions through internships in both the public and private sector. Whether you opt for an internship at a major corporation, smaller consulting firm, government agency, or academic research setting, you’ll put engineering science principles into practice.
Your internships will expose you to state-of-the-art facilities and connect you with inspiring mentors. The experience you gain will help you explore your interests in a hands-on way and give you a competitive edge whether you go on to graduate school or embark upon a career. And, like all students at Smith, you’ll have access to funding for summer internships through the College’s innovative Praxis program.
